Learn & EarnCollege or the Universities (Data Link University College) are out for the summer and i can see all the interns floating around the work-spaces. The new movie “The Internship” is shining a light on them too: some spending the whole while watching the movie. The pressure to get a cool internship is mounting but getting one and making the most of it is not easy.

Interns are easy to spot. They all try to blend in and not make too much noise yet, they cannot help it. None of them want to look like they don’t know what is going on: but really the have not a single idea. Most of them would rather be any where-else having fun. Here they are hoping to learn something. At the very least interns are willing to suffer in other to get something good to write on their curriculum vitae(CV)

Looking around the workplace am in, i see three kinds of internships and national service personnel:

1. Those that are unpaid but look really good on the CV.index-2.jpg

2. Those that paid well but often there is no one else to do the work.

3. Those that require quitting college because there is so much money involved.

The ideal internship is those that pay well and look good on the CV. These are difficult to find according to most interns

4. One thing I know for those of you seeking internships is that sitting around playing video games all summer is not an internship: waste of time and talent.
